Revealing the Heart

Am I fishing for a man, or am I a fisher of men?  Now as Jesus was walking by the Sea of Galilee, He saw two brothers, Simon who was called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea; for they were fishermen.  19 And He said to them, "Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men."   Immediately they left their nets and followed Him.… What are you fishing for today?  We are all fishing for something, maybe more money, more time, better health, a love relationship, to get out of a relationship, to gain popularity?....so many things we could and do fish for... Can you tell me what is on the end of your line?  Christ said to the two fisherman by the sea, "follow me, and I will make you fishers of men."  And He said to them, "Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.  Immediately they left their nets and followed Him.   Going on from there He saw two other brothers, James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother,...

To Live is to Love!  Recently I have been studying the Torah, or God's instruction and teachings from the ancient days.  These are the books that Christ studied while he was here on earth.  Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy,  Within the context of the study, I have discovered that as a Christian some of the current Holidays that I have observed for all these years were actually pagan and not found in the Bible at all.  One of those Holidays is Easter.  However, I do believe certain truths about the current season.  I believe that Passover took place during this season.  I also believe that Christ was crucified, buried and arose on the third day during this same season.  I cannot connect bunnies, and colored eggs to any of the Biblical events.  (One more thing from the enemy to take our focus off of the true spirit of love) And it doesn't mention Easter?  For a more thorough understanding of the timeline of...

Life!  Spring is quickly coming with buds, blooms, blossoms and butterflies.  This time of year it is filled with the color green.  To me the color green represents life!  Live life abundantly, live with courage, live with faith, live it out with Christ Jesus!  Is the love of the Lord growing within your heart today?  "The angel said to the women, "Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus who has been crucified.  He is not here, for he has risen, just as He said.  Come, see the place where He was lying.  Go quickly and tell His disciples that He has risen from the dead; and behold, He is going ahead of you into Galilee, there you will see Him; behold, I have told you" Matthew 28:6 One thousand stories of what you might be like Lord?  You are a good father and we are so loved by you!  As we search for answers, you know what we need before we even utter a word.  We are so loved by you! ...
