My Journey with VIDA and my Signature Collection

I found a company that actually reached out to me to encourage utilizing my art and design background to design high-end clothing.  Since finishing my certification in graphic design, it gave me the ability and expertise to follow through with my designing ability; my imagination kicked into gear!  I have worked with several manufacturers to produce backpacks, tote bags, pillows and other accessories but never had the opportunity to produce silk and high-end clothing and accessories.  I am so excited to see the quality and beauty of these products!  I have just started with my very own signature collection! 

As I come out with new designs and products, I will post them and my journey with VIDA.  Each time a product is purchased you are supporting literacy, education and women's rights.  Make a statement by buying my signature collection, personally designed by me.  To view other designs just click below. 






I also want to mention my painting class too.  I have started a local painting class using watercolor pens.  In class we will learn the techniques of using watercolor and create some beautiful designs, from a nautical flair to floral delight.  This class is different in that I will scan your original work and showcase your creation on a website where your work can be seen on a number of different products.  Create a nautical scene and then take it with you on a tote bag the next time you go to the beach.

Be Held! I have to be honest and share that sometimes it would be nice to be held by the arms of a man.  God did bless me with a son, who is now a man, who hugs me often!    Being single sometimes brings loneliness and when you deal with that and with the other issues of life, such as finances, health, and the burdens of others, it can be a difficult road, let's say impossible.  Some of you out there are married and still feel this sense of loneliness!  Loneliness prods me on to the exact reason why I can't walk this road alone.  I wasn't meant to walk it alone and I don't think you are meant to walk it alone either.  It isn't a choice for me, it is a necessity to believe! Richness

Richness To be rich is not what you have in your bank account.  It's what you have in your heart.  The hand of a child, the cuddle of a newborn, the memories of a loved one, a hug from your spouse, the kiss of a child, a bear hug from grandma, moments of richness.  In fact priceless!   Time with a friend.  I was talking yesterday with a friend on the phone and we were talking about what our jobs were as Christians, here in this world.  I think we often lose focus with all the distractions.  She told me to look in Luke 4:18 where Jesus read in front of a crowd in the synagogue, and it read like this....."The spirit of Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted."  To proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind.  To set at liberty those who are oppressed; to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.   It is our job to tell ...

Not allowing the woes of this world to rule my state of mind.  6.) I CAN have happiness!  7.) I CAN abide in the Lord!  8.) I HAVE power through His Word!  9.)
