In the Garden....and you are never alone!

In the Garden

Come to the Garden alone, where the dew is still on the roses; where the voice you hear draws you ever near to the Son of God, how He discloses!  

Does He walk with you and talk to you?  What peace He can give, if you only hold His hand.  What joy as we tarry there, in the garden.  As I was listening to the piano music from "Pure Praise", it sounded like my mother playing!  Peace - Ephesians 2:14 "For He Himself is our peace"  This is what the blog is for - Colossians 3:15 "Let the peace of God "rule" in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful.  Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts! "

 Do you often feel like the world has a ruler to measure, to judge, to see how you match up to it's expectations?  Are you rich enough, are you educated enough, do you look and act good enough?   Do you often feel like you have fallen short, not just to the world's expectations; but to your own?  These expectations often rob us of our peace.  What good are the riches and education at the end of the road?  The road here does end whether we want to think about it or not.  Do we have enough money to buy a ticket to Heaven?  I wonder if we are smart enough - will we see the golden gate....or a garden filled with delight?  In my last blog we talked about the brokenhearted.  It is my responsibility as a christian to teach and share the good news...God's peace!  To help set the captives free.  How does one do that, set the captives free?  How do you teach others God's peace?  In John 3:16 My Lord tells me that "For God sooo loved the world! - God so loved the world! - God so loved the world!  Scream it from the roof top, from the mountain top - that He gave His only begotten Son, (His begotten Son) that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.  Yes, this is my song, this is my praise....this is my story!  Sing it long, sing it hard! Let Him take your hand, let Him heal your heart, allow Him to give you peace!  God's love heals the broken heart.   God's ruler has been smashed, He sent His son to break it in half!  Don't believe the lies of the world because you measure up through Christ! Yes, you are enough, through the blood of the lamb.  He was slain for YOU, FOR YOU, FOR YOU!  This is what breaks the captive free!  Don't make the simple complicated.   No more inches to measure up to because He took it upon Himself!   Your faith is your righteousness!  Your faith is your measurement.   Be a child of the KING!  Let Him walk with you and talk with you.  Allow Him to bring you peace!  Hold His hand, He is calling you!  Yes, you!  Matthew 11:29 - "Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.  For My yoke is easy and My burden is light."  II Thessalonians 3:16 - "Now may the Lord of peace Himself give you peace always in every way.  The Lord be with you all.  Find Him within the garden of your soul.
