Walk with Patience!

The definition of patience is a certain quality, as to bearing provocation, or to provoke and not respond, yet express love when the flesh feels otherwise.  Being able to endure and perhaps suppress restlessness or annoyance.  Being able to handle a delay. 

Today I was on the other side of the lake when the sun started to go down, my pace became faster because I didn't want to miss the beautiful sunset.  It only lasts for mere seconds once it starts to go down.  Chasing after God's artistry, His hand of peace that comes slowly, but settles so beautifully as the sun sets.  Psalms 36:5 "The mercy, O Lord, is in the heavens; and they faithfulness reaches unto the clouds." 

His mercy shines and shows it's reflection on the stillness of the water.  We can choose to live in despair or make the choice to "Rest in Him, and wait patiently for him:  

As we walk patiently and wait, the Lord is inclined to hear!  Psalms 40:2 He brought me up also out of a horrible pit, out of the miry clay and set my feet upon a rock and established my goings.  And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the Lord!

Be Held! I have to be honest and share that sometimes it would be nice to be held by the arms of a man.  God did bless me with a son, who is now a man, who hugs me often!    Being single sometimes brings loneliness and when you deal with that and with the other issues of life, such as finances, health, and the burdens of others, it can be a difficult road, let's say impossible.  Some of you out there are married and still feel this sense of loneliness!  Loneliness prods me on to the exact reason why I can't walk this road alone.  I wasn't meant to walk it alone and I don't think you are meant to walk it alone either.  It isn't a choice for me, it is a necessity to believe! Richness

Richness To be rich is not what you have in your bank account.  It's what you have in your heart.  The hand of a child, the cuddle of a newborn, the memories of a loved one, a hug from your spouse, the kiss of a child, a bear hug from grandma, moments of richness.  In fact priceless!   Time with a friend.  I was talking yesterday with a friend on the phone and we were talking about what our jobs were as Christians, here in this world.  I think we often lose focus with all the distractions.  She told me to look in Luke 4:18 where Jesus read in front of a crowd in the synagogue, and it read like this....."The spirit of Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted."  To proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind.  To set at liberty those who are oppressed; to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.   It is our job to tell ...
