The Season!

Image
Each time I see a baby, my heart witnesses a miracle.  The beautiful miracle of birth.  The ultimate gift!  The priceless one, beyond what money could every buy!  The verses that come to mind as we witness a new birth are found in  Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.  A time to be born, and a time to die, a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;  A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; A time to weep, and a time to laugh, a time to mourn, and a time to dance; A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;  A time to get, and a time to lose, a time to keep, and a time to cast away; A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak.  A time to love, and a time to hate, a time of war, and a time of peace.  My heart holds to a Savior, who w

A Beautiful Sunrise!

A Beautiful Sunrise! A particular verse has been on my mind and heart lately!  There are so many things that happen on a daily basis that cause our peace to escape and anxiety immediately sets in.  How do we combat these feelings, emotions and thoughts? The only thing I know that can change a day of doom to a day filled with blessings, is God's word.  And starting first thing in the morning is like a healing ointment over the heart.  Did you know that there is absolutely nothing that can separate us from the love of God?  Nothing!  Not a health problem, not a stronghold, not a lack, or an abundance.  No circumstance, No bad news, No demon, no angel, nothing!   Take  a moment today and be still....you will experience God, you will experience love, you will experience healing!  He is the only one who can give a peace that passes all understanding!  Romans 8:31-39 Nothing Can Separate Us from God’s Love 31  What shall we say about such wonderful things as these? Love never fails!

Love never fails!  It's been awhile since I wrote my last post.  So, I thought it time to write again.  When I think of "love never failing" it gives me a warm feeling in my heart.  Isn't it true that we can make it through most anything if we know we are loved!  It gives us this hidden energy to fight whatever battle we have in front of us.  Sometimes it is difficult to love, because in order to love, we need to take the focus off of ourselves and put it on someone else.  I think we all have the tendency to think and say, "what about me?" What about me, is really all about you!  I think God gave us the ability to look beyond ourselves and to connect with love outside of who we are.  In fact this, I think is our purpose.  It is to love outside of ourselves.  One of the greatest commandments was to love our neighbor as ourselves and to love God with our whole being. Luke 10:27 Recently I have been trying to learn more about the Jewish culture

Thankfulness!

Thankful!  I was reading a blog this morning about contentment, written by some friends of mine.   I am very fortunate to know both of these beautiful ladies!   Contentment, isn’t this what we are searching for in a world filled with confusion, sorrow, chaos and contention?   Check out their blog and website:    http://aradicaldifference.com/sample-page/ I find in myself that it is much easier to complain about what isn’t going right and sharing that notion, instead of thinking and expressing thankfulness!   Where do you start when you feel so bogged down with this heaviness of responsibility and oppression of life?   And often uncontrolled circumstances that are, or feel anyway, simply outside of your control?   What frustration!! It isn’t just me with the struggle but many others feel and experience the same thing.   How do we change?   What will make the significant difference in our own life?   One of my friends is soon to have a book released about her ow
