Finding Happiness

Image
Finding Happiness!  Rejoice in the shadow of His wings…. Psalm 63:7; „Because thou hast been my help, therefore in the shadow of thy wings will I rejoice.‟ As our destiny is fulfilled, through Yahshua, we will shine as lights, as fully blooming lilies, to the world. Matthew 5:14; „Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.‟ This is the theme of the Lily: By our human labour our carnal flesh life is consumed and assimilated in order that the true Life within will be brought forth.  After research and study of the lily, part of it's meaning is it consumes and assimilated, much like our teeth break down food to consume and create energy for our body.  So is the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, showing being consumed by death, but rising again in three days having victory over death and ultimately eternal life and victory over sin!  How is this achieved, through constant renewal of the mind, and death of the fleshly desires.

A Journal to Jesus

Image
Journal to my Love!  What motivated my post for today was meeting someone online that told me they were preparing a journal for their future mate.  What a wonderful thing to do is to present your beloved with love letters from your heart. The ultimate love story.  Hasn't Christ given us the ultimate love story!  The reason for the butterfly is to signify the change in identity once you meet your bride or bridegroom. Oh how love changes our heart!  Oh how it changes our perspective.  If you find your love waning like the sparks that ignited the fire, stir it up...let the flame roar!  Stir it up with a love letter to Him!  A Journal to Jesus!  Preparing for my bride groom.  It seems in this world that our actions are never enough, there is always one more thing to be done, one more word to be said, one more change to be made.  Oh how things changed when I met my bride groom, my friend, the fairest, the Lily of the Valley, in Him alone I see!  He held his arms aroun

Stay still - Prayer!

Image
Stay still  - Prayer  So many things tug at the heart string.  How does one remain still in the midst of it?  What are we waiting for?  What do we need patience for?  "Truly my soul waiteth upon God: from him cometh my salvation!  He only is my rock and my salvation; He is my defense; I shall not be greatly moved.  Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us. We can only stay still through prayer.  The importance of prayer A friend reminded me of the importance of prayer.  How often do we pray?  What exactly is prayer?  When I think of prayer, I think of focusing, concentrating on the face of my beloved!  Who was it that needed to concentrate on the face of Jesus in order not to drown in the deep waters, the winds and the storm around him?  It was Peter, one of Jesus’ apostles. Matthew 14:22-29 – The story of Jesus walking on the water and Peter being called to follow suit.  I want to provide just a little inf

Love!

Love!  Scrolling by this advertisement on facebook the other day, just pricked my soul to the point I needed to write about it.  An actor had put these words and graphic on a t-shirt to promote life!  I had to shake my head and thought to myself, the thought of a gun doesn't usually bring us into the presence of God!  I think Satan was literally laughing out loud!  Here is the link below that I am going to write about for a moment.  http://www.lifenews.com/2015/10/09/actor-kelsey-grammer-sports-pro-life-shirt-on-abortion-would-it-bother-us-more-if-they-used-guns/ First of all, life isn't a sport.  A gun pointing at you or outward toward a fearful heart does not lead the lost to be found, and it certainly does not lead to the cross.  It makes the fearful heart run as fast and furious in the opposite direction.  Does a picture of a gun promote life, or demote it?  If  they were trying to make a point, the point was one of stupidity.  The only thing that is

Start your day with Peace!

Start you day with Peace!  "Through the Lord's mercies we are not consumed, because His compassion's fail not.  They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness.  The Lord is good to those who wait on Him."  Lamentations 3:22-25 - Every morning His compassion is NEW!  His faithfulness is NEW!   When seeking him, I often ask "where are you Lord?"  Where is the Holy Spirit?  It is spending time with Him.  It is the sacrifice of thanksgiving.  I think the Holy Spirit is wrapped in a robe of thanksgiving.  In thanksgiving we have peace!  One thing I have desired of the Lord, "That will I seek: That I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord and to inquire in his temple.  For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion; In the secret place of His tabernacle he shall hide me; he shall set me high upon a rock."   Psalm 27: 4,5 & 6 Where the man goes, the mind follow

Ordinary Moments!

Image
Ordinary Moments!  Oh those ordinary moments, seem to steal your time away; but do they?  What do you do with your ordinary moments?  I want to make my ordinary moments into extra-ordinary by concentrating on the one who loves me.  Isn't it nice to know you have someone to love, or someone that loves you?  I don't know about you; but it is such a nice feeling!  My concentration is on the one who loves me and gives me promises that will last an eternity!  Jeremiah 31:3  "The Lord hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yes, I have loved thee with an everlasting love!  Therefore with loving-kindness have I drawn thee.  Deuteronomy 33:27 "The eternal God is thy refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms: and he shall thrust out the enemy from before thee.  Make those ordinary moments extra-ordinary by searching out the heart of God!

All through Grace!

All through Grace!  This blog is specifically for you, Michael.  You may be disappointed to know that I am not Catholic and I do not believe in the Pope, and I believe there to be only one Priest, and His name is Jesus!  Let me explain why I believe this.  Allow the Holy Spirit to touch you as I write this.  My faith is based strictly on the Father, Son and Holy Ghost - Not Catholicism!  Search your heart to know the truth!  John 3:16 - "For God so LOVED the world that he sent His only begotten son that whosoever believeth on Him shall be saved!"  (No Pope involved here) It's all through Jesus - God's only begotten son! ) Romans 3:23 -  "For all have sinned and come short of the Glory of God"  (This includes the Pope)  John 14:6 -  Thomas said to Him, "Lord we do not know where you are going, how do we know the way?   Jesus said to him, "I am the way, and the truth and the Life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.  If yo
