Encouragement!

How to stay above life's circumstances instead of under them.

Bring your focus toward God's promises, and don't look down at the crashing waves around you.  Sometimes we need less writing and more reading, less living loudly and more leaning, more singing and less complaining!  His word is always made REAL, in the circumstances of life.
Hope deferred makes the heart sick. — Proverbs 13:12
 I envision holding a deep bucket and as the waves of life crash over me I catch as much living water as possible!  To me the living water is His word.  Let the water flow, whether it be tears of disappointment, or joy, or sorrow and pain, let them flow!  Because in the mix you will find His treasure!  You will find Him!

Isaiah 41:10 “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

Deuteronomy 31:6 “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.”

Romans 8: 38-39 “For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”  (my favorite verse)!

First John 1:9 “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.”

Second Corinthians 5:21 “God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.”

Romans 8:28 “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”

Romans 5:8 “But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”

Psalm 34:17New International Version (NIV)

17 The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them;
    he delivers them from all their troubles.

Be encouraged today!

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. — Psalm 46:1
Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.— Galatians 6:2

Shared joy is double joy, but shared pain is half pain.
