Love!
Scrolling by this advertisement on facebook the other day, just pricked my soul to the point I needed to write about it. An actor had put these words and graphic on a t-shirt to promote life! I had to shake my head and thought to myself, the thought of a gun doesn't usually bring us into the presence of God! I think Satan was literally laughing out loud! Here is the link below that I am going to write about for a moment.
First of all, life isn't a sport. A gun pointing at you or outward toward a fearful heart does not lead the lost to be found, and it certainly does not lead to the cross. It makes the fearful heart run as fast and furious in the opposite direction. Does a picture of a gun promote life, or demote it? If they were trying to make a point, the point was one of stupidity. The only thing that is powerful enough to save an unborn child from the fate of an abortion, is the penetration of God's (His) LIVING WORD into a heart that is dying already (even without the gun)!
We wouldn't have abortion clinics if we didn't have a world filled with hearts that desperately need compassionate arms to save them! This includes doctors, nurses, the father and the mother and the family of the unborn.
So, if guns can't force you to the cross, who and what can?
Yes, it is the beautiful cry of the waiting child, that is, patiently, nestled softly in the womb of the fearful and anxious mother. Only she can hear it. It is the soft, sweet breath, as this soft bundle of pure joy, burst into it's first melody. It isn't a cry, but a song of praise. The first glimpse of life, painful; but oh, so precious and priceless. A silhouette of fearfully and wonderfully made. The caress of softness, the likeness and beauty of a fresh bloom. The new and delightful aroma of new life fills the air and permeates the heart! The warmth and innocent love that penetrates the hearts that witness this miracle. Yes, this is what leads the fearful and anxious heart to the cross. This is what leads the heart to an everlasting love. A love that cannot be explained, except through a beating heart. Except through a mouth that only screams miracle from the Heaven's above!
It is only through this form do any of us have the path to follow into eternal life. Isaiah 9:6
"For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace!
What is your child's mission? Is it their mission to lead others to the cross? We all have a purpose and a mission....don't miss out on your mission, and the mission of the unborn! Don't miss out on the precious Love that the spirit of love is giving you. What an opportunity and privilege to carry such love! And to pass it on to others as a gift of life and eternal life!
Our Wonderful Counsellor, might God and Prince of Peace, did not come to condemn the world; he came as a lowly man, a sacrificial lamb, so that the wounded, fearful of heart could run into His arms and find protection, acceptance and love, not a gun! Isaiah 9:6
It is love only that can lead us to the saving knowledge of Him!
