Your Name.......
Today I didn't post my photography....but I do have a picture of our Lord! I wish I could take credit for this; but this song was sung by Paul Balocke, how beautiful "Your Name!" Recently I was having a conversation with someone on facebook. The conversation definitely struck something within my soul. It was with a friend, who I love and who was my neighbor as a young girl. She had made a post and a friend had agreed. So I was addressing the friend. She never posted anything else; but I know she saw what I had posted. She only "liked" what he had posted.
He had commented on a post concerning how we should imitate the delai lama because he was considered the "holy one", and it was always good to be compassionate to others - and we have the power within ourselves to do this. Don't get me wrong there is absolutely nothing wrong with being compassionate and kind to others; but oh how the serpent deceives! God's word says we are to display the fruit of the spirit if we are believers and you will know them by their fruit.
God also said in the last days there would be wolfs in sheep's clothing and that the very elite would be deceived. It takes effort to lift the vale, the shadow that covers the whole truth. The serpent may mimic a light; but his light is covered with lies. Oh, if it is easy we follow it, if it sounds right, we listen, if it looks like the easy path, we take it! There are so many folks out there that believe just because you are good, and compassionate, this will give you a ticket to Heaven. Just be compassionate, and this will fill you with goodness and righteousness (only self righteousness). You think your own works and deeds pay for the priceless? We are deceived by thinking we have the strength from within to do good. What will you do when you look back and realize it was the wrong path; after life's journey you couldn't pay for the priceless? You were able to access a heavenly eternity; but landed in an all consuming hell. Sounds harsh doesn't it....the enemy doesn't want us to hear it. Misery wants company, but do you want this kind of company? The false light that will consume!
God's word says that we are all sinners, Romans 3:23. Our works are as filthy rages - Isaiah 64:6 It doesn't matter how or what we do, in God's eyes our works are as filthy rages. Satan wants you to think you are somebody, that your good deeds will not go unnoticed. The slithering snake wants company in hell. The problem is, they are not noticed by the God that can SAVE you. Because the lie that we can save ourselves...is simply that, a lie. You shall have no other gods before me - Exodus 20:3 I am the LORD, and there is no other; apart from me there is no God. I will strengthen you, though you have not acknowledged me, God's mercy endures forever! He also said that you were uniquely and wonderfully made! God wants to lift you up and not take you down. He wants you to know the truth...and the truth will set you free. He said we can't do it alone; but only through Christ Jesus (His only begotten son) can we be saved. We can put on a "good act" (this is what the enemy does) He is not the true God; but "acts" as if he is. What does it profit a man to gain the whole world but lose his soul.

The person said to me "obviously I do not share your views". Well, all I can say is - as eternity comes... and it will, I will have to say I tried to share and was told "good luck with that." There is NO luck involved, only TRUTH......We are the "light" of the world, the world is so dark - people's eyes are blinded by false prophets and false teachings. Are we saved through the teachings of delai lama, the professed holy one? God's words says we are saved by GRACE = God saved you by his grace when you believed. ... For you are saved by grace through faith, and this is not from yourselves; it is God's gift-- ... Ephesians 2:8 and again in Ephesians 2:5 made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions--it is by grace you have been saved. ... You are saved by grace! ... and again in II Timothy 1:9 He is the one who saved us and called us with a holy calling, not based on our works but on his own purpose and grace, granted to us in Christ Jesus before ... and again in Romans 11:5. It is our faith that gives us Righteousness! Why can't the blind sheep see? Because the serpent who disguises himself as a light has deceived us! And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light. . II Corinthians 11:14. Satan, who is the god of this world, has blinded the minds of those who don't believe - II Corinthians 4:4 Do you suppose this could be a delai lama?? Our righteousness does not come from delai lama or from our own will power, or any other source or sorcerer - IT COMES FROM THE GRACE OF GOD! Your name.....It's Your name...Jesus Christ our beloved Savior!
